Employee Spotlight

Shred for Good has changed Denard Peterson Jr’s life for the better, both professionally and personally. Denard was once a shy young man living with Asperger’s, but now he is more outgoing and comfortable in the fast-paced warehouse setting. He has even started giving his coworkers/friends advice when they need his help.

Denard has become an integral part of the Shred for Good team as he learns new tasks quickly. He has achieved his AA degree, is forklift licensed, works face-to-face with customers and drives the Shred for Good Truck. Shred for Good customers often compliment Denard, including this comment, “If you change drivers, we will cancel our service. We want Denard!”

Denard has an outstanding work ethic and a positive attitude and was selected for Challenge Enterprises’ 2013 Dr. Paul P. Hagen Leadership Award. Denard embodies the American spirit and is living out the Power of People and Possibilities.
