Did you miss the shredding and donation event at The Nichols Group, PA in Fleming Island last May 6? The event was sponsored by The Nichols Group, PA, and Starr Home Search Team – Coldwell Banker Vanguard Realty. Participants were able to drop off their old files and documents for secure disposal in exchange for canned goods and non-perishable food items to benefit Food for Clay County.
The shredding service was limited to two 32-gallon bags per person. However, even those who did not need documents shredded were able to drop off some canned goods or non-perishables to help those in need in Clay County.
This was a great opportunity for the community to clear out some clutter and make a positive impact at the same time. The Nichols Group, PA, and their partners were dedicated to giving back and supporting local charities, so the donations went a long way in helping those in need. This event generated 576 pounds of documents for destruction and 131 pounds of food.
